Pricing for a stained glass
panel is based on several factors, not just the size of the piece. A
primary factor is the complexity of the design.
A large but simple panel with few individual
pieces may cost far less that a smaller panel with an intricate
design of many small pieces. An intricate piece of work
requires far more time to cut and build than a simple panel.
Other factors in arriving at the
cost of a stained glass panel are: the choice of glass used, square
footage, total number of pieces, and assembly technique.
The Tiffany style foil method allows for finer detail but requires
more time than a traditional lead construction. Also, any
manufactured additions such as bevels and jewels, or natural "found"
items such as agate will be a factor.

point to get a ballpark idea of the cost for your custom

Designs containing flowers, birds and
organic depictions require more pieces. On a
smaller panel with numerous pieces, the Tiffany foil
method is commonly used.
If you have a set budget there
are alternatives to design and glass selection that
would lower the cost. Many patterns can be adjusted
to lower the number of pieces and still be quite lovely. I would love working with you to design a piece of
